Provides coordination and administrative support for CONRAD Operations division in Arlington. Coordinates specific, ongoing functions of a division, including travel, website maintenance and grant application preparation. Provides correspondence, document management and calendar support to selected individuals. First point of contact for the division.
THIS POSITION IS IN NORTHERN VIRGINA.
This position will assist the Director of Administration to ensure proper operation of the office by doing the following:
Coordinate domestic and international travel for entire division
Coordinate and assist in preparation for internal and external meetings; take and publish minutes
Coordinate and schedule meetings, calls and travel requirements
Maintain website and publications list and provide updates to host
Assist in grant application preparation
Assist in preparation of press releases
Prepare weekly management reports
Conduct biomedical literature search
Manage transportation benefit
Create, process and track requisitions
Maintain vendor accounts
Order office supplies and office equipment
Perform daily office receptionist duties
Perform other duties as assigned.
Associate’s degree plus three (3) years of administrative experience. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Intermediate level computer skills for Office Suite required. Familiarity with Adobe Professional, EndNote and Prism preferred. Professional attitude, dress and manner required, with the ability to effectively present information in a professional manner.
