Responsible for answering the telephone, pulling charts, greeting patients, checking patients out, and scheduling appointments. Ability to remain calm and perform duties efficiently under stress. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills. Manual dexterity. Must demonstrate ability to effectively communicate and interact with all age groups. MUST have Excellent Customer Service Skills. Patient confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
High school diploma. At least one year experience in a doctor’s office. Excellent communication and people skills. Experience in a “fast paced” ambulatory setting is desirable. Training in electronic health records is desirable. Willingness to learn new skills and apply as deemed appropriate by the assigned supervisors.
