Under the general supervision of the Patient Accounts Manager, this employee must be knowledgeable of the filing and E H R Scanning systems and must be able to retrieve Medical Records for all requests. Must have knowledge of the established order of the chart and the ability to identify individual reports and file them in their appropriate position within the record is required. In order to relieve other employees during breaks and lunches, this employee must know how to operate the switchboard.
HS diploma or equivalent is required. Experience as a Health Information Services clerk (medical records) is preferred. Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. Must type at least 45 WPM.
