Obtains and enters financial and demographic data for use in maintaining payroll records. Provide Customer Service Support.
Payroll data entry, including but not limited to: Compute payroll information, key all salary increases, promotions, terminations, transfers, status changes and annual reviews. Ability to interpret the documents prior to keying the data. Attention to details and confidentiality a must.
Process Chief Resident Pay, Incentive, Optional Fringes, Meaningful Use and Supplement Action sheets.
Process all employee payroll deductions including benefit contributions/deductions and adjustments.
Track and Log One Time payments and shift differential payments on a spreadsheet
Process employee garnishments, liens, child support orders, and default student loans
Process Time & Effort changes and re-classes
Assist the Payroll Coordinator on bi-weekly and monthly payroll processing of action sheets, keying batches, and maintaining employee payroll folders.
Process retirement deductions, Foundation Pledges, tax forms.
Set up and maintain employee direct deposit requests
Assist with the EVMS payroll portal & the ADP portal.
Back up the Payroll Coordinator
Set up and maintain cell phone allowances.
HS diploma and plus three years of relevant administrative experience. Intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Strong data entry skills required. Experience working with payroll preferred.
Must thrive in a pressurized work environment (deadlines).
