Overview

Under the supervision of the project director the incumbent will support the implementation of the site specific action plans to address healthy policies and environments by working directly with businesses, child care centers, faith, community, civic, and community groups to implement the plan.

 

This position works no more than 20 hours per week.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Provide staff support for initial assessment activities , including assessments, community meetings, surveys, data collection and entry, and other assessment related tasks as determined necessary by the project
  • Participate in the development of reports for the funding agency
  • Support the development of the site specific action plans
  • Recruit sites, work with partners and otherwise support the implementation of identified activities per the project work plan
  • Provide trainings to participating sites and community members on project topics
  • Attend and participate in the related meetings for CINCH
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a health or social and behavioral science field, such as public health, community health, psychology, sociology, or social work is required.  Will also consider equivalent experience in related field.  Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office.
