  • Overview

    Assist the EVMS Parking Manager and the Assistant Manager in managing the daily Parking operations.

     

    A Parking Services Assistant is considered essential personnel. Therefore, the Assistant must have the ability to get to work, during inclement weather and emergency situations, without the use of public transportation

     

    The work schedule is as follows:

    Thursday: 12:00pm-8:30pm

    Friday: 12:00pm- 8:30pm

    Saturday: 12:30pm-1:00am

    Sunday: 12:30pm-1:00am

    Responsibilities

    In the absence of the Parking Manager and the Assistant Manager, supervise the daily Parking Operations.

     

    Expected to operate and manage the McGann Revenue and Access System.

     

    Responsible for collecting, compiling, and preparing transient revenue for deposit.

     

    The selling of coupons, monthly debit prox cards, and processing hourly stamp requisitions for inter-office mail delivery.

     

    Assist in the storage and control of parking spitter tickets, EVMS Parking inventory  items, and all facility equipment.

     

    Assist in supervising the Parking maintenance and cleaning program.

     

    Responsible for the completion of the Parking Cashier’s Sales Report, and the Parking Daily Report.

    Qualifications

    Two years of general clerical experience required.

     

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the medical school.
