Perform community outreach in the city of Portsmouth on behalf of the Portsmouth Diabetes Prevention Project. This is a grant funded part-time position and will terminate at the end of the grant period.
This position works no more than 20 hours per week.
High school degree plus two years of experience working in a community outreach program performing duties such as intake, assessments, program screening, home visits and survey/data collection, Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office is required.
Valid Driver’s license, provide a recent DMV report and have use of a vehicle in good working order with proof of insurance with a minimum limit of liability of $100,000 per accident as use of a personal vehicle will be required as part of this position. Copies of all documents must be provided to Human Resources, prior to any use of a personal vehicle for this position.
