The position will participate actively in the research projects of a diverse group of researchers in the EVMS community.

• Animal handling and husbandry
• Assist with animal surgeries
• General Laboratory Upkeep (ordering supplies, keeping records and schedules, and ensuring the group is compliant with IACUC and IBC)
• Assist with rodent experiments (behavioral scoring, histology, data entry, analysis)
• Assistance with cell culture

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in biology, or Biology related field. Prior experience with behavioral/surgical or cell culture techniques and with neuroscience knowledge is a plus.
