This Pre-Clerkship Phase Office Coordinator manages and coordinates all logistics for, and has operational and administrative oversight of, the Pre-Clerkship Phase office. Incumbent will assist the Assistant Vice Dean for PreClinical Education in coordinating efforts related to delivery of the medical school curriculum.
Works with, and assists, the Assistant Vice Dean for Preclinical Education, teaching faculty, students, coordinators, and administrators to ensure smooth functioning of the pre-clerkship phase curriculum.
In coordination with the Assistant Vice Dean for Preclinical Education, handles all administrative department requests including submission of requisitions, ordering of supplies, payment of invoices, forecasting and monitoring of budgets, and processing reimbursement claims.
Schedules and organizes meetings related to the pre-clerkship phase of the curriculum. Takes meeting minutes, maintains files, minutes, and documents required for accreditation compliance.
Monitors and tracks requirements for pre-clerkship phase students, as assigned.
Coordinates and manages schedules for the Assistant Vice Dean for Preclinical Education, including travel arrangements.
Candidate should possess working knowldge of educational curriculum and/or medical education or experience in a higher education setting.
Must have experience working with windows operating system, MS office and Learning Management System.
Associates degree preferred, but not required.
