Advanced Practice Providers (APP), a nurse practitioner (NP) or a physician assistant (PA), who will be responsible for providing general medical care and treatment of participants enrolled in clinical trials in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences. Position functions as an independent provider primarily coordinating gynecologic and obstetric care in women enrolled in clinical trials. This professional will work with the research staff on protocol review, study activities, and review and follow-up of diagnostic and laboratory tests.
This position will serve as the TMS technician in the afternoons, as well as a medical receptionist in the mornings.
The Registered Nurse (RN) will function as an independent nurse clinician in coordinating antepartum fetal testing for high-risk patients to include the performance, interpretation, and reporting of test results, assessment of patient status, educational needs, and follow up care.
