Responsible for providing prenatal, postnatal, general medical care and treatment of patients within the Maternal Fetal Medicine division which is a division of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Nurse Practitioners are expected to function as an independent provider primarily coordinating pre-pregnancy, prenatal and post-partum care in women with high-risk pregnancies. This Registered Nurse (RN), Float Pool will support for our Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics & Gynecology practice. This role provides expert nursing care to women across the reproductive lifespan, with a focus on high-risk pregnancies and complex OB/GYN conditions. Responsibilities include patient education, coordination of care, assistance with in-office procedures, triage, and support during diagnostic testing (e.g. NSTs).
This is a part-time, temporary hourly wage position.
