This is a full-time position for an LPN, providing care coordination/management along with implementing prescribed medical treatments, to include patient care and education services. The LPN will work with ill, injured, convalescent, and disabled patients. LPN role will include the provision of care coordination including Medicare Wellness Visits, Chronic Disease Care Management, and Transitional Care Management for high risk patients. Team care member will assist with implementing quality improvement measures to aid in preventing and managing chronic diseases.

As a key position within the Research Division for the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, this position will play a vital role in administering sponsored research funds, monitoring all expenditures and assisting investigators in proper use of sponsored research funds.
The Department currently consists of eighteen (18) fulltime ENT Surgeons practicing at several facilities in Hampton Roads. The majority of time and effort for this position is intended to be at offices located at Norfolk General Hospital.
Responsible for working directly with our Mohs patients and the referring providers. This position is responsible for ensuring appropriate referral information is received, scheduling patients for procedures and follow ups, and completing correspondence to the referring provider’s office. This positions is also responsible for answering the telephone, scanning pertinent patient data into the electronic medical record, and verifying patient insurance information. Patient confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
A research assistant position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Petra Popovics in the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Cell Biology at Eastern Virginia Medical School. The successful candidate will assist projects exploring transcriptome/proteome/lipidome of the prostate in mouse models of inflammation and hyperplasia as well as in human specimens and will perform chemical, biological, molecular biological, surgical or other laboratory tests and procedures in support of these projects. The Strelitz Diabetes Center, Endocrine and Metabolic Disorders Division, Department of Medicine is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), a nurse practitioner (NP) or a physician assistant (PA), who will function as a clinical provider. The APP will participate in all aspects of patient care and will participate in the supporting roles of consultant, and educator. The main role of the position will include outpatient care of patients as well as in-patient consulting and conducting hospital inpatient rounds. Primary focus will be on patients with diabetes mellitus, but may also include other endocrine disorders. This position will spend up to 50% of their time covering hospital call and rounding in the inpatient setting.

The Residency Program Specialist I position has three levels with varying educational requirements and position responsibilities. Performs a wide variety of administrative support and problem-solving duties of a confidential nature for the department. The allocation of time is at the discretion of the department leadership, and the major responsibilities related to the Fellowship program are defined at the discretion of the Program Director (PD). Promotion through the Residency Program Specialist levels require successive education, scholarly activity and responsibility within the program.
In accordance with the mission of the EVMS Medical Group, the MFM Hofheimer Hall (HH) the Nurse Manager I will function under the direction of the MFM HH Department Administrator I and in coordination with the MFM Division Director. This position is responsible for the day to day clinical workflow and oversight of the MFM clinical practice in HH.
