Manages and coordinates all aspects of conducting clinical trials within Eastern Virginia Medical School Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, both clinically and administratively. The Director of Annual Giving will develop and implement a comprehensive annual giving plan and calendar. The Director’s objective is to increase total annual donations and gift revenue from alumnae, parents, faculty/staff, friends, community and other segments.

The Program Administrator (PA) will assist all aspects of Program Management at CONRAD/EVMS, with dedicated program management and administration support to MATRIX, a USAID Project to Advance the Research and Development of Innovative HIV Prevention Products for Women.  The PA will be responsible for organizing internal program-specific meetings, preparing all necessary materials, summarizing action items, and preparing reports on other specific projects. The Medical Officer/Lead R&D Scientist to provide technical leadership, advisory and clinical safety oversight of multiple national and international clinical studies under two new research programs supporting women’s and global health. The position is responsible for designing clinical research protocols, participating in the project team meetings conducting these studies, preparing clinical study reports and manuscripts, writing clinical portions of INDs, IDEs, NDAs and PMAs, and attending and participating in scientific conferences and meetings. Serve as the Medical Officer for CONRAD, responsible for monitoring overall study integrity and the review, interpretation and communication of accumulating data pertaining to safety and efficacy. Oversees extramural clinical subprojects and liaise with public and private sector companies interested in CONRAD’s portfolio as well as assist with or lead the writing and submission of clinical R&D funding applications. This position requires staying current and maintain knowledge/excellence on the state of the art in women’s and global health clinical R&D in areas of priority to CONRAD’s mission and goals.
