To oversee several research studies and perform all aspects of patient contact related to that study (i.e., recruiting, scheduling, performing all patient tests and completing all documentation as outlined by the protocol and required by the Internal Medicine Research Center SOP’s).  This includes phlebotomy and processing of specimens, ECG’s, and vital signs. To work with the clinical research team on various other clinical study protocols as needed, including recruitment and study data collection.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Eastern Virginia Medical School is seeking Board-certified or board-eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to provide outpatient and inpatient consultative care to include management of complicated pregnancies, prenatal diagnosis and fetal ultrasound as well as participate in labor and delivery coverage.   

Advanced Practice Providers (APP), a nurse practitioner (NP) or a physician assistant (PA), who will be responsible for providing general medical care and treatment of participants enrolled in clinical trials in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences. Position functions as an independent provider primarily coordinating gynecologic and obstetric care in women enrolled in clinical trials. This professional will work with the research staff on protocol review, study activities, and review and follow-up of diagnostic and laboratory tests.

The Ellmer School of Nursing’s Director of Financial Operations will oversee multiple general administrative strategic, tactical, and/or operational areas including but not limited to Strategic Planning, Finance, Human Resources, Facilities, and/or Information Technology to ensure compliance with university policies and procedures in financial reporting and management. The Registered Nurse (RN) will function as an independent nurse clinician in coordinating antepartum fetal testing for high-risk patients to include the performance, interpretation, and reporting of test results, assessment of patient status, educational needs, and follow up care.
